Woohoo! .. . .

. . . The cloak order I've been working on is done! Huzzah!
I took a pic but haven't uploaded or scaled it yet. Mesa too tired to do so!

So do you know what this means?
While I still have things to do on my to-do-list I've reached a break point.
Tomorrow I will pack up the cloak and send it off, I also have some tabards and loaner garb to send of to Jeff for the event. And my serger Sky will get her yearly vacation to Sew Creative where she will get her tune up. While the serger is in the shop I will start coding the website for Heidi; The Chainmaille Wench
Currently there is just a under construction page I set up a couple weeks ago.

I will also be cutting out the black tabards for the tavern, and making my appliques. That way when my serger gets back I can hop right on those. I thought about holding off on the serger vacation to do the tabards and then sending that all together with the other stuff. But another delay and Heidi may shoot me. Plus I still have other projects for the tavern I'll be needing to sew. So its not like this is the only box I'll be sending. Plus its already plenty heavy. So this will go ground Fed-Ex cause it'll be cheaper than USPS and its not like this is in a rush.

Depending on how long it takes to get my serger done I may start on my moms pixie blouse if I wrap up on the website work before my serger is done. It doesn't have any tight curves so the other serger will do just fine. But with the curve of the collarlines on the tabards I need Sky, since the distance between her cutting blade and stitching needles is closer together than Kiki's. And using Kiki on curve sometimes it ends up chaining off of the fabric because I don't want to cut into my curve ahead of it too much. All the lines on the pixie blouse though should be okay on Kiki.
I'm trying really hard to get everything done, and keep everyone happy, including you dear reader. I blogged just for you! There, now don't you feel special. ;)

Currently sewing queue has a Robe, half a dozen tabards, a pixie blouse, an irish over dress, velveteen cloak, tavern wall hangings/banners.
This is just the *NEED* to sew list. Not the want/hope to sew list. Like a replacement or two blouses for myself. Over the last year or so I've had to toss several of my blouses.
Always much to do and little time to do it in.
Welp for now I must be off, so till later dream of velvet and pixiedust. . .
